OBJECTIVE: Student will solve systems of two linear equations in two variables.

ACTIVITY: Students will find the solutions to 24 systems of equations using any method to pair light bulbs with the solutions on the bulb bases. String the light bulbs to add some holiday cheer to your classroom! This activity works well either as independent work or in collaborative groups. I recommend using this resource after students have been taught all 3 methods (graphing, substitution and elimination) to provide the students with the opportunity to determine which is the best method to use dependent on the set up of the system. Answer keys provided.
