Christmas Algebra…Students will practice solving two-step equations, multi-step equations and equations with variables on both sides to create festive 3D Christmas Ornaments. There are 42 equations (18 two-step, 12 multi-step, 12 variables on both sides) to provide students with multiple options and to allow for differentiated student assignments. This activity works well as a review of all solving equations or can be spread out over three different lessons.
Hang the festive three-dimensional holiday ornament using a paper clip for the ornament hanger. It’s perfect for decorating the classroom…Copy on different colored paper to add some extra holiday cheer!
