This superhero themed resource includes 10 sets of digital error analysis task cards with 4 cards in each set via Google Slides. Each set of Digital Error Analysis Task Cards includes 4 different superhero characters giving a possible solution to the same problem and a student response sheet. The student will analyze each character’s response and circle either “correct” or “incorrect” and give a written explanation of their thinking. Students will decide who they would rather be based on which superhero character the student thinks demonstrated the correct solution.
These error analysis task cards include common student mistakes to help teachers easily identify students making these types of mistakes in their own work/thinking so teachers can provide immediate feedback.
The level of difficulty begins with basic distributive property and progressively becomes more challenging with distributing twice then combining like terms.
