Students will solve 25 equations with variables on both sides (without distributive property) to reveal the mystery drawing. The level of difficulty for these problems is intended for students who are at the Novice Level, students who are being introduced to the concept for the first time or in need of remediation. It’s the perfect self-checking activity for teachers who are into engaging activities without the hassle or mess of glue and scissors.
This resource works well as independent practice, homework, extra credit or even as an assignment to leave for the substitute (includes answer key!)
