Leveled practice is a useful tool for measuring students’ knowledge of a specific concept. Student Directions: “Choose a level based on your understanding of the concept. Attempt the first problem in the set. If the level seems too difficult, Level Down. If the level seems too easy, Level Up. Challenge yourself. And remember, you can always Level Up or Down as needed. Write numbers (example 1 – 12) in the box next to each problem as you solve them. Also number and show your work on a separate sheet of paper.”
This resource includes three levels.
Level 1: Two-Step Equations
Level 2: Multi-Step Equations
Level 3: Equations with Variables on Both Sides
