Students will practice solving 21 quadratic equations. This activity is most suitable for students who need practice solving quadratic equations with the quadratic formula (as the quadratic equations are set equal to 0) or for solving the quadratic equations by factoring (solutions are rational numbers). The jumble puzzle changes up the monotony of basic worksheets and textbook problems and allows for students to self-check with immediate feedback. The completed puzzle is a butterfly.
