Students will practice solving two-step equations, multi-step equations and equations with variables on both sides to create festive 3D autumn pumpkins. There are 48 equations (16 of each type) to provide students with multiple options and to allow for differentiated student assignments. This activity works well as a review of all solving equations or can be spread out over three different lessons.
Hang the pumpkins on some string and show off your students’ work while decorating your classroom for the Autumn season!
