Writing and Graphing Linear Equations: Students will match 36 cards and sort into 12 groups. Each match will consist of a linear graph and both its standard form and slope-intercept form equations. Matching Activity can be modified by having students pair the graphs with only its slope-intercept form or pair the graphs with only its standard form. Activity can even be modified so students can practice changing between standard form and slope-intercept form (solving for Y) by omitting the cards with graphs. Works well as partner practice, math centers and/or extra credit. Printing on cardstock and laminating is recommended for extended use. 🙂
